International Cooperation in Health

The unprecedented health crisis, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly marked the year 2020 both in developed countries and in emerging and developing countries. The Ministry of Health has drawn up a report on international cooperation in health, in order to capitalize on the main advances in the dynamics of international cooperation in health.

This report on international health cooperation is a summary document which, in the first part, provides an overview of the highlights of the response to Covid-19 while highlighting the challenges encountered and the opportunities offered. On the other hand, the document describes how the management of the crisis at the national level, took care not to forget the other public health priorities and to maintain the continuity of essential health services. Finally, the last part of this document emphasizes how the national action, based on anticipation, prevention and holistic approach, has also targeted solidarity towards African countries and the sharing of experiences and expertise between these countries.
