National Health Development Plan

The National Health Development Plan 2013-2017 was developed by the Djibouti Ministry of Health. This plan outlines how to:

• Ensure more participatory and transparent governance for a fairer and more efficient health system
• Ensure universal access to quality health services meeting the needs of the population
• Adapt the financing and use of financial resources to the needs of the health system
• Develop and enhance human resources according to the needs of the health system
• Improve the availability, accessibility, rational use of drugs and the quality of diagnostic means
• Strengthen the national health information system to improve decision support
