As part of the implementation of the National Health Development Plan 2010-2015, the Ministry of Public Health of the DRC has decided to draw up the National Health Informatics Development Plan, aimed at strengthening the national health information system.
This plan outlines:
- How to create a global management of all health information subsystems based on common databases
- Define the needs and the existing IT resources (hardware, software, staff, training) and the budget estimation to cover the gap
- How to implement the computer system of the Ministry of Public Health
