The National Health Policy 2015-2025 is structured around the following values: (i) solidarity, (ii) fairness and equality, (iii) social justice, (iv) integrity and ethics, (v) respect for human rights and (vi) gender equality. Its aim is to bring the population to the highest possible level of health with a view to its full participation in the efforts of sustainable national development.
The National Health Policy 2015-2025 is the only national reference instrument for all stakeholders and for all interventions in the health sector in Burundi.
