National Health Sector Strategic Plan

The National Health Sector Strategic Plan highlights the key strategies for the control and management of both communicable and non-communicable diseases, the promotion of better family and environmental health as well as the key systemic and structural imperatives necessary for a sustained response to the various health challenges and needs of the nation. Emphasis is put on sector-wide approaches (SWAPs) and strengthening sustainable partnerships between the MoH and all other relevant local and international stakeholders. This, is necessary for the ultimate realization of the wellbeing of all Swazi people. The Plan also indicates the level of investment required for achieving the health sector policy objectives and priorities and provides an enabling framework for the mobilization of additional resources for health.
