Overview
DMI is one of the components of a health management information system. It provides continuous and real-time sharing of medical data between different services. It concerns not only the diagnostic follow-ups, treatments, but also all written exchanges between health professionals.
DMI is an application adopted by public hospitals in Tunisia. It improves patient care through :
- better follow-up of medical data,
- availability of medical records
- relevant database that can be used to train the medical staff

The solution is implemented at national level in Tunisia

Challenges: Challenges are related to the lack of reliable data and the access of patient’s information.
Interventions: By adopting DMI solution Patients data will be storage analysed and visualized, and healthcare provider's activities will be scheduled.
