The MEDICAL IMAGING application allows the management of medico-administrative activities in radiology departments ensuring:
• Parameter management (nomenclatures of medical acts, examination rooms, doctors and their schedules, etc.)

• Sending the results to the requesting services
The MEDICAL IMAGING application is used in radiology department in public hospitals in Tunisia.
Challenges
In radiology department, there are many issues related to poor planning and coordination, inadequate workflow management and delayed provision of care.
Interventions
The Medical imaging application (RIS) improves the patient care through transmission and tracking of diagnostic orders and results to health care providers. It allows also to schedule the activities of health care providers and to decrease the delay of oppointments.
